Carmelle: I began working in the fashion industry, then travelled overseas. While working as a wardrobe stylist, I landed a job in the Wardrobe Department on a Phil Collins video clip. Upon seeing the makeup artist on the job, I returned to Australia to study makeup artistry. After my course, I travelled overseas again, this time working in London and the UK as a freelance makeup artist for various music magazines.

On returning to Australia, I have worked in television, commercials, film, magazine and photographic now as an airbrush and body-painter, designing beautiful faces, creating fabulous body works, using the airbrush and teaching the art of makeup.

In my travels, I have developed a particular interest in corrective makeup. By creating an illusion with makeup, we can cover what some may see as imperfections. I have worked with customers with alopecia, intrusive birthmarks.  These women were stunned at how easy it is for makeup to make a difference to their lives. I enjoy the reward of helping women of all ages achieve the best in their looks and improving their self-esteem.

With this in mind, I created this website to show women how easy it is to look fabulous by learning how to apply makeup like a professional. It doesn't take much: just pick up the tips and tricks that work for you and you're on your way!

It is very rewarding for me to help women achieve the best in their looks which in turn helps them with their self esteem.
